Rachel is currently pursuing her Master’s Degree in Chartered Town Planning at @oxfordbrookes University with the ambition of becoming a Chartered Member of the @rtpiplanners Town Planning Institute.

With a BA (Hons) degree in Geography, Rachel was a dedicated geography teacher for nearly a decade and recently made a bold career shift into planning. Her decision was prompted by a desire for new challenges and the opportunity to apply her geographical expertise in a different field.

The transition, while significant, allows Rachel to leverage her strong problem-solving and communication skills honed through years of teaching. Her maternity leave provided the perfect opportunity for reflection, leading to this exciting “now or never” career move.
